Review: Ruinart - Dom Ruinart - 1979

Submitted: 16th March 2024

A decent hiss of air pushing the cork from the bottle.

A golden colouring to the wine. Bubbles lively initially, was hoping for longer effervescence presence, though quick to fade.

Most tempting aromas holding dried golden fruits, white floral, lemon, mushroom, pastry.

Flavours even better. Fruits still showing with mostly apple along with decent floral presence. Lovely umami style with added white floral and cream cheese. Decent length showing floral, pastry and cream.
