Nice pop to the bottle, a silky golden colour, and a gentle display of bubbles lasting for a few minutes.

Aroma - Warming, silky, gentle and slightly rich sweetness from a handful of hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds and more nutty characters venturing through, with delicious almond cake, and glazed professionally baked pastries to investigate on the aroma.

Flavour - An exciting tingly sensation on the tongue thanks to the aged/delicate bubbly supply, very elegant on the palate with divine nutty flavours, glazed walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, and freshly baked glazed pastries,

This bottle belonged to Oz Clarke OBE, I got the pleasure of enjoying it with Oz Clarke and Christopher Walkey, during a collection of interviews we did together, speaking in part about his latest book Oz Clarke's Story of Wine. Vintage Champagne and more.
